What is a Regular or Small Potted Tree?

Regular-sized potted trees are surrounded by 2 square inches of dirt about 8 inches deep.  These are three-year old trees.

Small-sized potted trees are surrounded by 1 inch of dirt in a circular tube. These are two-year old trees.
