Native Willow Mix
Salix lasiandra
Salix eriocephala

Salix exigua

This is a selection of three native willows for streambank restoration and habitat improvement.  The mix is comprised of whiplash and strapleaf willow with some coyote willow.  All are tall willows reaching up to twelve feet high.  Whiplash and strapleaf have larger shiny green leaves contrasting the blue-green color of coyote.  Best suited for moist riparian areas.  Elevation range of 4,500 to 9,000 feet.  Native distribution from the foothills of the eastern slope throughout western Colorado and Wyoming.
