How the Seedling Tree Program WorksThese seedling trees and shrubs are selected specially for Colorado's climate and are grown at the Colorado State Forest Service Nursery in Fort Collins, Colorado. Order forms Available for 2012 seedling Tree Program. Windbreak Workshop scheduled for Wednesday January 18, 2012 in Franktown, CO. If you live in Douglas County, Colorado, you're in the right place! Each year in November, we'll send each person on our mailing list an order form. They will have until the middle of March of the following year to order. The earlier you order, the more likely the plants you want will still be available. "First Come, First Served" The date for tree pickup is scheduled the first or second week in April 2011 in Castle Rock, Colorado at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. If you place an order, you will be notified by postcard, and/or email of time and date for seedling tree pickup. Look at Trees and Shrubs for available species. Conditions of sale:

The Douglas County CD offers this program to Douglas County residents. If you want trees and you are not in Douglas County Conservation District in Colorado but you would like to pick up your trees in Castle Rock, CO then you can order them from us. If you are out of the area and want to find the closest distribution location for you then you can contact the Colorado State Forest Service nursery by e-mail or phone #970-491-8429 to see if they can help you contact other cooperators of the program in your county area for ordering. |
